Jonathon Clay, BHSc(PT), BASc(Kin), FCAMPT (co-owner)  Jonathon has his Physiotherapy degree from McMaster University as well
as his Kinesiology degree from Simon Fraser University. Jonathon has
worked in rehabilitation for over 15 years and specializes in manual
therapy and exercise to promote recovery from injuries including MVA,
workplace, and sports injuries. Jonathon has completed his Advanced
Manipulative Therapy and has a special interest in core stability
exercises to promote functional reactivation at home, in the workplace,
and for recreational activities.
Jon has provided medical coverage and performed training duties for
international and university level athletes in several sports including
rugby, baseball, soccer, and wrestling. He has also helped with the
clinical skills training of physiotherapy students at McMaster
University. Jonathon maintains the Fit Fore Golf program at SOS
Physiotherapy including golf specific exercise classes and training
sessions to improve your game. He enjoys golf, baseball, and mountain
biking, and is the happy father of 1, 4, and 6 year old boys as well as
an 8 year old girl. Andrew Woelk, BHSc(PT), BA(SDS), BTh, CAFCI, FCAMPT (co-owner)  Andrew is a registered physiotherapist having received his physiotherapy
degree from McMaster University and his BA from the University of
Waterloo. He has also continued his extensive post-graduate courses with
a focus on manual therapy and acupuncture. Thirteen years ago Andrew
started his rehabilitative career working with persons with acquired
brain injuries and is currently a part owner of SOS Belmont. He enjoys
rehabilitation of persons with acute and chronic conditions with a
strong interest in rehabilitation of persons with spinal dysfunctions.
Between studies Andrew took a year to volunteer in South America to help
care for street children in Asuncion, Paraguay. Besides studies he has
also helped teach clinical skills to physiotherapy students at McMaster
University. Andrew enjoys most sports, but has a keen interest in
hockey, soccer, and mountain biking. Outside of his work he is kept busy
being a proud father of an 8 year old girl and two boys ages 6 and 3. David Slover, BSc(PT), BPE, BEd, CAT(C), CAFCI (co-owner)  Dave has 25 years experience as a Registered Physiotherapist and Certified Athletic Therapist, working at S.O.S. Physiotherapy for 19 years. Dave possesses a strong background in orthopedic and sports physiotherapy with national certification in Acupuncture. He holds degrees in physiotherapy from University of Toronto, physical education from McMaster U. & education from Queens U. He has attended physiotherapy skills courses in a variety of areas including manual therapy, Fit Fore Golf and medical exercise training. He also lectures in Sports Medicine at the University of Waterloo. Dave was selected to the Canadian Health Care Team for the following games: summer & winter olympics, paralympics, commonwealth, francophone, university & Canada games. He has also organized therapy for national and international competitions hosted locally. Dave is interested in many sports pursuits with most of his focus presently on fitness, golf and hockey. He is married with one energetic child. Brian Gastaldi, BA, BSc(PT), MS (owner)  Brian is the owner of the Waterloo clinic which he established 17 years ago. He has practiced as a Registered Physiotherapist for 23 years after receiving his degree from the University of Toronto. Prior to studying physiotherapy, Brian was the Head Athletic Therapist at the University of Waterloo for 7 years. For 20 years Brian also worked at the Fowler-Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic, affiliated with the University of Western Ontario while concurrently operating SOS. Brians areas of interest include manual therapy and rehabilitative exercise. Brian is the holder of a diploma in Sport Physiotherapy and has been selected to several Olympic, Commonwelath, Pan American and World University Games medical teams. Most recently, he was the Assistant Chief Therapist at the 2004 Summer Games in Athens. Brian and his Wife, Gail-Lynn, have two children: Jonathan is a kinesiology graduate from the University of Waterloo and Brianna is an English graduate from the University of Guelph. Both are currently exploring opportunities beyond their undergraduate degrees.
Beth Albert, DPT, BKin, RYT 
Beth is a registered Physiotherapist having received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University, and her Kinesiology degree from McMaster University. Beth is also a registered Yoga teacher. Beth has experience working in both the Canadian and US health systems, specializing in orthopaedic and paediatric therapy.
Since earning her degree, Beth has continued to take courses to expand the care she can give her patients, including McKenzie, manual therapy and acupuncture courses. Beth also teaches Yoga at SOS Belmont, including a Healthy Backs yoga class.
In addition to Yoga, Beth enjoys and actively participates in many sports. A former captain of the McMaster Women's swimming team, she remains an avid swimmer, but also has a particular fondness for running and cycling. Beth also enjoys spending time hiking and mountain biking outdoors with her husband. Lambrini Mantizios, RMT, BSc(Health Studies)  Lambrini has 12 years experience as a Register Massage Therapist at SOS Physiotherapy. Lambrini received her diploma in Massage Therapy from Sutherland-Chan School in Toronto. She holds a degree in Health Studies from the University of Waterloo and a diploma in Health & Safety from Conestoga College. Lambrini has attended numerous massage therapy courses in soft tissue manipulation with an interest in deep tissue massage. Lambrini has actively been playing soccer for 24 years including at the varsity level while at the University of Waterloo. She relates well to individuals with sports injuries and believes that exercise is integral to a balanced lifestyle. She is vice president of Wellesley's soccer executive and hopes to promote growth and improve the youth program. Lambrini and her husband Ken are the proud parents of two young boys. Kimberly Schmidt, RMT  Kimberly has been working at the Belmont clinic as a Registered Massage Therapist since her graduation from the D' Arcy Lane Institute in 1991. She has two active boys who keep her and her husband very busy. When at work though, she helps to treat various conditions which include; tension/migraine headaches, frozen shoulders, arthritis pain, pregnancy discomforts as well as the "sitting at your desk, working at the computer, all day syndrome". Kim is available for appointments Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:30am to 6:00pm. Cathleen Ellis, RMT  Cathleen has been practicing at the Belmont clinic for five years as a Registered Massage Therapist. Specializing in Esalen Deep Tissue, Cathleen has helped to treat specific conditions such as frozen shoulder, disc bulges/herniations, tendonitis, rotator cuff, as well as everyday aches and pains. She graduated from Canadian College of Massage in 2002 and is now employed there part-time as a Teacher's Assistant and Clinic Supervisor. Cathleen is available for appointments on Monday and Wednesday 10 am until 6:30 pm.
Janice Moreside (formerly Flynn), BSR, MHK, PhD(candidate), MCPA  Janice is part owner of the SOS Physiotherapy clinic on the University of Waterloo campus. Since receiving her combined degree is physio and occupational therapy at UBC (‘77), Janice has practiced in many regions of Canada as well as England, while raising a family of 3 children. In 2001, Janice returned to academia, receiving a Masters degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Windsor, and is currently working towards a PhD in Spine Biomechanics, under the supervision of Dr. Stuart McGill, at the University of Waterloo. In addition, she is responsible for co-ordinating the Kin 340 course, a series of guest lectures regarding musculoskeletal injuries in sport and the workplace. Janice has 4 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals, regarding muscle patterns during various activities, and has presented her research at numerous national and international conferences. Janice’s areas of experience and interest include spine biomechanics, posture, arthritic and rheumatic diseases, and issues relating to women’s health and sensitivity in practice. Kimberly Rau, H.B.Sc.(KIN), C Ped(C), Canadian Certified Pedorthist
Kim began her career as the original associate of Pedorthic Services in
1986 and continues to practice in the Kitchener-Waterloo locations.
She has an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the
University of Waterloo and completed her Canadian Pedorthics
Certification in 1990. Kim has been highly involved in the national
Pedorthic Association of Canada (PAC). As a member of the Education
Committee she played an integral role in establishing the Diploma in
Pedorthics, a joint venture between PAC and the University of Western
Ontario. Her involvement with the program is ongoing as she serves as a
practicum supervisor training future pedorthists. Kim is a member of
PAC’s Insurance and Government Relations Committee whose
responsibilities are to educate these agencies in order to protect the
public and to ensure continued support of the services offered by
Canadian Certified Pedorthists. In addition, Kim works as a private
consultant to the insurance industry.
With over 25 years
experience, Kim continues to contribute to the success of Pedorthic
Services and the profession itself through teaching, involvement in
research and by providing exceptional clinical services, conference
presentations, lectures at educational institutions and seminars to the
general public. She maintains her sanity through running and playing
basketball and enjoys hours baking for her very appreciative husband and
2 teenage sons. Tavish Lahay-Decker, H.B.Sc.(KIN), C Ped(C), Canadian Certified Pedorthist
Tavish was introduced to the field of pedorthics through volunteering
during her university career. During this time she had the opportunity
to shadow personal trainers, chiropractors and physiotherapists however
it was with her involvement in gait training a child with cerebral
palsy that sparked her interest in pedorthics. After volunteering with
Kimberly Rau, she knew that a career in pedorthics was the right fit for
her. Through her volunteer work with various fitness programs, with
both special populations as well as healthy, Tavish has gained an
appreciation for maintaining physical activity while preventing
injuries. After graduating from the University of Waterloo in
2009 with her Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology she completed
the Pedorthic Program at the University of Western Ontario in 2011.
Tavish has a keen interest in pedorthics education and in the future
plans on contributing to the educational goals and training of future
pedorthists.
In her free time Tavish enjoys cycling, sailing and gardening when she`s not spending time with her family and multiple pets. Jennifer Krulicki, B.A.(KIN), C Ped(C), Canadian Certified Pedorthist
Jennifer was first introduced to the world of pedorthics as a teenager
when an injury at a provincial track and field meet landed her in the
Pedorthic Services clinic where she received her first pair of foot
orthotics. Her interest in sports, passion for sports medicine and
positive experience with orthotics motivated Jen to volunteer with
Pedorthic Services during her university years. Jennifer graduated from
Wilfrid Laurier University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in
Kinesiology and Physical Education. She was accepted into the Pedorthic
Program at University of Western Ontario and completed her Certification
in November 2007. Jennifer spent the first year of her career at a
Pedorthic Clinic in Guelph, Ontario and was ecstatic to be given the
opportunity to return to Pedorthic Services in September 2009. Jennifer
practices in the Kitchener-Waterloo Clinics as well as Wingham,
Ontario.
Jennifer and her husband cherish every moment with their
two young children. Jennifer also has a passion for DIY projects,
renovating and decorating their home. Rhonda Burkholder BSc OT, OT reg (Ont)  Rhonda is a registered Occupational Therapist having received her degree from University of Toronto in 1999. Since graduation Rhonda has taken several continuing education courses in hand therapy and has developed a special interest in protective and corrective splinting. She has primarily worked at Grand River Hospital in the Hand and Upper Extremity Program providing treatment for patients with acute and chronic upper extremity impairments. In this setting, she continues to works closely with both orthopaedic and plastic surgeons, developing and implementing hand therapy protocols to improve patient function post injury. In 2008, Rhonda and her colleague Laura Milne started Hands On Occupational Therapy in order to provide comprehensive upper extremity rehabilitation to the communities of Kitchener-Waterloo and Guelph. In her spare time, Rhonda enjoys running and playing hockey. She is kept busy being with her husband and their 3 young children.
